Set up and share your podcast feed
Find your audio RSS URL, check it in a podcast app, and prepare to share your show with listeners.

A podcast feed is the RSS URL a listening app uses to find your episodes. Share this URL when an app asks for a feed; the dashboard address is for managing your podcast.
Open or create a feed
Sign in to the dashboard, open your podcast, and select Feeds. An imported podcast may already have a feed. Open it to see its RSS URL and feed items.
If you need a feed, select New feed:
- Choose Audio feed for listening apps. A video-source podcast can have separate audio and video feeds.
- Review the listener-facing title, description, and square feed image.
- Select Create feed.
Feed creation gives you the public RSS URL. It does not publish private draft episodes. Check that the episodes you want listeners to hear are published and appear in the feed items.
Copy and check the RSS URL
Open the feed and copy the RSS URL. Use Open RSS to inspect the public feed. Seeing XML in the browser is normal: RSS is a document that podcast apps read.
Check that the feed contains the intended podcast details and episodes. If an episode is missing, check its publication and media status in Episodes.
Listen in a podcast app
Use a podcast app that supports adding a show by RSS URL. Find its option to add a feed or follow a show by URL, paste the audio RSS URL, and open an episode. The option's name varies by app.
Play the episode and seek to a later point. Confirm that the title, artwork, and recording are correct before sharing the feed with listeners.
Make your show available in directories
For a new podcast, submit the audio RSS URL through the creator tools for the directories where you want listeners to find it. Directory submission and approval happen separately from creating a Listenbox feed.
Once a directory follows your feed, published episodes are delivered through RSS as the directory checks for updates. You do not upload each audio episode again to every directory. Check each directory's own status if an episode has not appeared there yet.
Keep existing listeners connected
If the podcast already has a feed and subscribers, confirm the move before changing its directory listings. Importing episodes into Listenbox does not by itself verify that listeners following the old URL will receive the new feed.
Keep the previous host available until the new feed, media, and redirect have been checked. For an older Listenbox feed, email hello@listenbox.app with the old URL and podcast name so we can confirm the next step with you.
