Report copyright infringement or respond to a copyright removal.

Last updated: October 17, 2026.

Send copyright notices to hello@listenbox.app. Listenbox is operated by Pneuma LLC. Written notices can also be mailed to:

Pneuma LLC, Attn: Copyright notices, 1209 Mountain Rd Pl NE PMB 7944, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States.

Use the process below for material hosted by Listenbox. For a copy hosted by another service, contact that service directly.

If you own the copyright, or are authorized to act for its owner, send a written notice that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. If your notice covers multiple works at a single online site, you may provide a representative list.
  3. Identification of the material you want removed or disabled, with enough information for us to locate it. Include the exact Listenbox media, episode, or podcast feed URLs and identify the relevant material within them.
  4. Your name and contact information, including your mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. Consider whether the use is permitted, including by fair use, before submitting a notice.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

What happens after a notice

We review copyright notices and act expeditiously to remove or disable access to material identified in a valid notice. If information is missing, we may contact you to help complete the notice.

When we remove or disable access to material in response to a copyright notice, we take reasonable steps to notify the account holder promptly. We may share the notice, including the sender's contact information, with that account holder so they can understand and respond to the claim.

To retract a notice, email the copyright contact above, identify your original notice and the affected material, and state that you withdraw the claim.

Submit a counter-notice

If your material was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice to hello@listenbox.app. Include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your full name, mailing address, and telephone number. Include an email address where we can reach you.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located. If your address is outside the United States, state that you consent to the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which Pneuma LLC may be found.
  6. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original copyright notice or that person's agent.

We promptly send a copy of a valid counter-notice, including your contact information, to the person who submitted the original notice and inform them that we intend to restore access after 10 business days.

We will restore the material between 10 and 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice unless we first receive notice that the claimant has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the alleged infringement. Material may remain unavailable if it separately violates our Terms.

Repeat infringement

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. We may also restrict access to content or accounts that otherwise violate our Terms.

Accurate notices

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a copyright notice or counter-notice can result in liability for damages, costs, and attorneys' fees under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
